Plot Summary
As the Avengers make their way to South America, Goliath continues his underground adventures with Prince Rey. After surviving an attack by the servants of the Keeper of the Flame, Goliath and Rey make it back to Rey’s stronghold where the prince explains the nature of this subsurface conflict. Goliath soon discovers that his new friend is no better than the Keeper, merely an opposing force. As the Avengers arrive, Goliath attempts to find his way out of the caves, only for both groups become prisoners of the Keeper of the Flame. When the Keeper reveals that the flame is fueled by dangerous cobalt and that he intends to stoke it further, the Avengers break loose and manage to extinguish the Flame, escaping from the chaos that ensued.
