This week we are talking about the penultimate chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers: Infinity War. There is just so much to talk about and some many feelings. While the film may not be perfect, it is exactly the right film to begin this final chapter that we’ve all been waiting 10 years and 17 films for.

The current members of the Avengers are joined by the inactive comrades in order to discuss offering membership to Spider-Man. After consulting with Daredevil, the Avengers decide that they do indeed want to proceed and set out to locate the Web Slinger. Eventually he is found by Thor and although the two don’t really see eye to eye, Spider-Man agrees to come and meet with the Avengers to hear their offer. On his arrival, Spider-Man is greeted warmly, but things quickly become confrontational when the Avengers can’t agree on what kind of trial Spider-Man must complete in order to prove his worth to become an Avenger. Eventually Spider-Man is sent to track down the Hulk in yet another effort to bring Hulk back into the Avengers fold. Upon locating Hulk, Spider-Man initially confronts the behemoth, but when Hulk turns back into Dr. Bruce Banner, Spider-Man decides to leave the poor man alone and returns to the Avengers, reporting that he was unable to find Hulk. Spider-Man’s entrance into the Avengers will have to wait for another day.
