The Space Phantom is a nefarious visitor from outer space looking to make way for his people to invade. Arriving as a meteor, Space Phantom attempts to destroy the Avengers by assuming the forms of various team members and causing infighting. Eventually Space Phantom is imprisoned in Limbo when he attempts to take the form of Thor.
