The Ruler of Limbo and a master time traveler. Aids The Masters of Evil in their attempts to defeat The Avengers because it also serves his purposes. Kidnaps Rick Jones as a means of controlling Captain America and gathering all The Avengers together. Because Immortus has access to all of the heroes of history, he pits each Avengers against a different legendary figure in order to beat them. Unfortunately, all of his champions are defeated and Immortus is forced to relinquish Rick Jones.
