The richest nobleman in Europe is also the most powerful crime lord in the world. Count Nefaria runs the global crime cartel, The Maggia. After The Avengers begin disrupting Maggia operations, Count Nefaria attempts to stop them by turning public opinion against the heroes. Nefaria’s is eventually discovered and he is exiled from The Maggia for his failure.
