Taneleer Tivan is an Elder of the Universe and commonly known as the Collector. Nearly 1 billion years old, the Collector most commonly appears in the guise of an old human man. Known for collecting various rare and fantastic items. Attempted to add the Avengers to his collection but failed to account for Giant Man’s increased power. The Collector is forced to escape through time to avoid defeat at the hands of the Avengers. (Avengers #28)
