Nathan Garrett was caught by Ant-Man trying to sell government secrets to the “Red Chinese”. After making bail, Garrett escaped to an undisclosed location in the Balkans, created a winged horse and adopted the persona of the Black Knight to take his revenge on Ant-Man. Garrett is the uncle of Dane Whitman, who will later take up the mantle of Black Knight and become an Avenger.
